BetBright App Offer – 50% Money Back

There’s a big weekend of sporting action ahead and you don’t want to miss this BetBright App offer! Simply place a minimum of 5 in play bets using the BetBright app, and BetBright will refund 50% of our net losses as a free bet, up to a maximum of £100.00. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £46.05-£54.05 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bets:

This offer is only available on the BetBright app.

BetBright will refund 50% of our cumulative in play losses between 00:00 on Saturday 7th May 2016 and 23:59 on Sunday 8th May 2016. Refunds will be in the form of a free bet. Free bets will be credited by 11:00 on Monday 9th May 2016 and will be valid for 24 hours.

We must place a minimum of 5 sportsbook in play bets to be eligible. With that in mind, I think the best way to go about this is to place a big bet first and then depending on how that goes, we can place 4 smaller bets to make sure we qualify for the refund.

In order to claim the maximum free bet refund of £100.00, we need to lose £200.00. If you’ve read my risk-free bet strategy guide, you’ll know that the higher the odds we place our qualifying bet at, the more profit we can lock in. This does, however, depend on your bankroll.

It’s impossible to know what odds will be available in play, but I would recommend sticking to the Match Odds football markets. As always with in play bets, I recommend that we place them at half-time to reduce the risk of the odds fluctuating unfavourably whilst trying to get our lay bets on.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity in the run up to races, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

I’ll update the bottom of this post with my actual selections at the end of the weekend, but the following example shows you how things might pan out. We can work out our lay stake by selecting the ‘Risk-Free Bet’ option on my matched betting calculator…

Place £200.00 on Arsenal @ 5.00 = Potential profit of £800.00

Lay £177.61 on Arsenal @ 5.20 = Potential liability of £745.95

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Arsenal win + £800.00 – £745.95 = £54.05 profit
Arsenal don’t win – £200.00 + £174.05 = £25.95 loss

So, as things stand, if Arsenal win, we’ll have made a profit of £54.05 and we don’t need to worry about placing the 4 additional bets or extracting profit from a free bet refund.

If, however, Arsenal don’t win, we’ll have made a current loss of £25.95, as we haven’t yet placed a total of 5 qualifying bets. There is no minimum stake or minimum odds requirement specified in the terms, so in theory we could just place 4 x £1.00 bets at really low odds, but I think it’s best to place 4 x £10.00 bets at relatively low odds, around the 1.50-2.00 mark. Hopefully, we will win a couple and lose a couple, so that it doesn’t eat into our refund too much.

Say, for example, we place our 4 additional in play bets at odds of 1.50 and they all win, our overall net loss would be £180.00, which means we would receive a £90.00 free bet. By using straightforward matched betting, we would be able to extract 80% of the £90.00 free bet as cash, so £72.00, giving us an overall profit of £46.05.

So, depending on how things go, we should make a guaranteed profit of somewhere between £46.05 and £54.05 on this BetBright offer.

* I actually placed my £200.00 qualifying bet on West Ham v Swansea being a draw. The score was 2-0 to Swansea at half-time, so I got back odds of 4.333 and lay odds of 4.60. Swansea went on to win the game 4-1, and so after taking into account my further qualifying bets in order to receive the bonus, I made an overall profit of £48.31 on this BetBright offer. *
