Betsafe Offer – Man City v Crystal Palace

Betsafe have gone all in on Manchester City this season and their in play offer continues this weekend! Simply place a £25.00 pre-match bet on any Premier League match and Betsafe will give us a £10.00 risk-free bet to be used in play on Man City v Crystal Palace. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £46.50 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

We must opt-in on the promotions page to be eligible for this offer. It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bet on, as long as you place it at the minimum odds of 1.50 (1/2) or above.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stakes using the matched betting calculator.

Risk-Free Bet:

It’s been noted over the last few weeks of doing this offer, that there is a distinct lack of available markets in-play that enable us to lock in a guaranteed profit. I’ve therefore resorted to using this risk-free bet as a punt.

When we place our risk-free in play bet, we must check the ‘Risk-Free’ box on our betslip.

If I were to place my £10.00 risk-free bet on a winning selection at odds of 6.00, I would have winnings of £50.00 that would need rolling over once before I’m able to withdraw. Using straightforward matched betting, I should be able to extract 95% of the winnings as cash, giving me cash returns of £47.50. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £1.00, this gives us a potential profit of £46.50!

I will update the bottom of this blog post with my actual in play selection after the match.

* I actually placed my risk-free in play bet on Man City winning by 3 or more goals when the score was 1-0 to Man City. Man City won 4-0, meaning I made an overall profit (after rolling over) of £17.95. *
