BoyleSports Offer – Crossbar Double Winnings

There’s plenty of Champions League and Europa League action this week and you don’t want to miss this BoyleSports offer! Simply place a pre-match bet on selected European games this week, and if either side hits the crossbar, BoyleSports will double winnings on all pre-match markets as a free bet. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us an overall potential profit of £68.10 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bets:

This week’s eligible matches are as follows…

Fixture Kick-Off Date
Monaco v Tottenham 19:45 Tuesday 22nd November 2016
Arsenal v PSG 19:45 Wednesday 23rd November 2016
Man Utd v Feyenoord 20:05 Thursday 24th November 2016

We must opt-in to this promotion to be eligible.

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

If either team hits the crossbar, BoyleSports will double winnings on all pre-match markets as a free bet. The maximum stake for this offer is £25.00 and the maximum free bet is £500.00.

Just to clarify, the ball must strike the crossbar and rebound back into play. The side posts do not count for the purposes of this offer.

Having looked at the odds available for Monaco v Tottenham, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Tottenham in the Match Betting market.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…

Place £25.00 on Tottenham @ 2.70 = Potential profit of £42.50

smarkets whiteLay £24.64 on Tottenham @ 2.76 = Potential liability of £43.36

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Tottenham win and crossbar not struck + £42.50 – £43.36 = £0.86 loss
Tottenham win and crossbar struck + £42.50 – £43.36 + £34.00 (extract 80% from £42.50 free bet) = £33.14 profit
Tottenham don’t win – £25.00 + £24.14 = £0.86 loss

So, if Tottenham win and the crossbar is struck, we’ll make a nice profit of £33.14. If, however, Tottenham don’t win or the crossbar isn’t struck, we’ll have made a small loss of £0.86. Risking £0.86 to make a profit of £33.14, gives us effective odds of 39.53, which I’m sure you’ll agree, makes this a profitable offer in the long run.

This offer is available on all three specified matches. It’s entirely up to you which selections you go for. I’ll update the following table with my selections throughout the week…

Fixture Selection Back Odds Lay Odds Qualifying Loss Potential Profit
Monaco v Tottenham Tottenham 2.70 2.76 £0.86 £33.14
Arsenal v PSG Arsenal 2.50 2.58 £1.07 £28.93
Man Utd v Feyenoord Man Utd 1.333 1.36 £0.63 £6.03

So, as you can see, we’ll lose £2.56 if none of our bets come off, but with £68.10 profit up for grabs, this offer is well worth a shot!

If you’re not sure how to extract 80% cash from a free bet, please see my Free Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
