BoyleSports Offer – Leicester City v Man Utd

It’s Leicester City v Manchester United at Wembley today and you don’t want to miss this BoyleSports offer! Simply place a pre-match bet on Leicester City v Manchester United and if either side hits the crossbar, BoyleSports will refund losing stakes on all pre-match markets as a free bet, up to a maximum of £25.00. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £19.30 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

We must opt-in to this promotion to be eligible.

If either team hits the crossbar, BoyleSports will refund all losing bets on all pre-match markets. Just to clarify, the ball must strike the crossbar and rebound back into play. The side posts do not count for the purposes of this offer.

Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to keep my qualifying loss to a minimum and place my qualifying bet on a draw.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…

Place £25.00 on a draw @ 3.60 = Potential profit of £65.00

smarkets whiteLay £24.79 on a draw @ 3.65 = Potential liability of £65.70

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Draw + £65.00 – £65.70 = £0.70 loss
Not a draw and crossbar struck – £25.00 + £24.30 + £20.00 (extract 80% from stake refund) = £19.30 profit
Not a draw and crossbar not struck – £25.00 + £24.30 = £0.70 loss

So, if the game isn’t a draw and the crossbar is struck, we will make a nice profit of £19.30. If the game is a draw or the crossbar isn’t struck, we’ll have made a small loss of £0.70. Risking £0.70 to make a profit of £19.30, gives us effective odds of 28.57, which I’m sure you’ll agree, makes this a profitable offer in the long run.

If you’re unsure how to extract 80% of our £25.00 free bet refund, please see my free bet strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
