Bwin In Play Offer – Liverpool v Tottenham & Leicester v Southampton

The Bwin in play offer continues this weekend! Wager at least £20.00 on the Result (3-way) market for Liverpool v Tottenham and/or Leicester City v Southampton and Bwin will give us a £10.00 free bet to be used in play on each match. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £12.60 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bets:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

This weekend’s eligible matches are as follows…

Fixture Kick-Off Date
Liverpool v Tottenham 17:30 Saturday 2nd April 2016
Leicester City v Southampton 13:30 Sunday 3rd April 2016

Qualifying bets must be placed pre-match on the Result (3-way) market at minimum odds of 1.50 (1/2) or greater to be eligible. It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bets on.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stakes using the matched betting calculator.

bwin

Aim to lose no more than £1.20 on each of our qualifying bets

So we will lose £2.40 in qualifying for our £20.00 worth of free bets.

Free Bets:

Our £10.00 free in play bets will appear in our accounts within 15 minutes of the respective game kicking off and will be valid for 2 hours.

It’s impossible to know what odds will be available until the matches have kicked off but by using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 75% out of the 2 x £10.00 free bets as cash, so £15.00. If we take into account our total qualifying loss of £2.40, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £12.60 on this Bwin offer!

Extracting profit from our free bets can be a little tricky when betting in play. My advice is to wait until half-time to place your free bets and then lay them at Smarkets. This is simply because the odds don’t fluctuate as much as when the game is live. There’s nothing worse than placing a free bet on a market and then something happens in the game that changes the odds before you have chance to get your lay bet on! I tend to look at the correct score markets first and then if I can’t find anything suitable I move onto goal scorer markets.

If you can’t wait until half-time, you might want to look at placing them on 1-1, 2-1 or 3-1 whilst the score is at 0-0. By selecting a scoreline where both teams score, it reduces the risk of the odds fluctuating unfavourably.
