Unibet Offer – FA Cup Price Boost

Everyone loves the FA Cup 3rd Round and Unibet are no exception. They’re running a fantastic price boost, perfect for us matched bettors! They’re offering 2.50 (6/4) on Chelsea and Tottenham both winning on Sunday. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential risk-free profit of £24.27 and here’s how…

Price Boost Bet:

Both of the matches included in this price boost kick-off at different times and don’t overlap. Because of this, we can use matched betting to give ourselves a shot at making a risk-free profit by placing a lay bet on the first match and then if Chelsea win, by placing a further lay bet on the second match.

It’s likely that we will all have different staking restrictions for this offer, but the maximum I was able to place was £60.00.

Place £60.00 on Chelsea and Tottenham to win @ 2.50 = Potential profit of £90.00

Match 1: Chelsea v Scunthorpe United (14:00)

On the first match, we have to cover our original stake of £60.00.  If we divide £60.00 by 0.98 (to account for the 2% Smarkets commission), this gives us a lay stake of £61.22.

Lay £61.22 on Chelsea @ 1.24 = Potential liability of £14.68

If Chelsea win – £14.68 = £14.68 loss
If Chelsea don’t win – £60.00 + £60.00 = £0.00

So if Chelsea fail to win, the offer will be over and we’ll have broken even. However, if Chelsea beat Scunthorpe United, we will have made a loss of £14.68 so far. This means on the next match we will have to cover both the £14.68 and the original stake of £60.00. If we divide £74.68 by 0.98, this gives us a lay stake of £76.20.

Match 2: Tottenham v Leicester City (16:00)

smarkets white

Lay £76.20 on Tottenham @ 1.67 = Potential liability of £51.05

If Tottenham win – £14.68 – £51.05 + £90.00 = £24.27 profit
If Tottenham don’t win – £60.00 – £14.68 + £74.68 = £0.00

So if Tottenham don’t win, we’ll have broken even. However, if Tottenham beat Leicester City, we’ll have made a risk-free profit of £24.27!

Please bear in mind that the Tottenham v Leicester City lay odds may fluctuate before we place that lay bet, so this may affect our overall profit figure if both Chelsea and Tottenham win.
