Unibet Offer – Premier League Top Goalscorer 2015/16

The Premier League is back and we don’t want to miss this Unibet offer!  Simply place a £30.00 bet on any player in the Premier League Top Goalscorer market and Unibet will give us a £5.00 free bet every time he scores twice during the same game this season.  Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £19.97 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walkthrough guide on how to place your qualifying bets.

You must opt-in on the promotion page to be eligible for this Unibet offer.

It’s entirely up to you who you place your qualifying bet on.  Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Christian Benteke.  If you don’t want to have cash tied up in your exchange account all season by laying your selection, you could just use this offer as a free punt.  It’s likely that you will get a few free bets over the course of the season and if you extract 80% of each one, you should get close to your £30.00 stake back and then you can just let your £30.00 bet run.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.  We can calculate our lay stake using the matched betting calculator.

Place £30.00 on Benteke @ 15.00 = Potential profit of £420.00

Lay £26.50 on Benteke @ 17.00 = Potential liability of £424.03

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the following outcomes…

Benteke top scores +£420.00 – £424.03 = £4.03 loss
Benteke doesn’t top score -£30.00 + £25.97 = £4.03 loss

So regardless of who finishes top scorer, we will lose £4.03 in qualifying for this offer.

Free Bets:

We will receive a £5.00 free bet every time Benteke scores two or more goals during a game. Free bets will be credited the next working day by 15:00.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% out of any free bets we receive.  Say for example, Benteke scores two goals or more six times.  We would receive £30.00 worth (6 x £5.00) of free bets,  £24.00 of which would be extracted as cash.  If we take into account our qualifying loss of £4.03, this gives us a potential profit of £19.97!

* Benteke scored 9 goals in the 2015/16 Premier League season, but never scored twice in the same game. I therefore made a loss of £4.03 on this Unibet offer. *
