Betway Aintree Offer – Bet 3, Get 1 Free

The Grand National Festival 2016 at Aintree is televised live on Channel 4 and as usual, Betway are running their popular horse racing free bet offer. Simply place three or more bets of at least £10.00 on Aintree and Betway will give us a £10.00 free bet the following day. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £12.40 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bets:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

We’ve missed the first day, but there’s two days left to get involved.

The 5 qualifying races on Saturday 9th April 2016 are as follows…

Time Race
14:25 Mersey Novices’ Hurdle
15:00 Maghull Novices’ Chase
15:40 Liverpool Hurdle
16:20 Betfred Handicap Chase
17:15 Grand National

We must place three eligible bets in the same day to qualify for a free bet the following day. Our qualifying bets must be placed on any of the above races at minimum odds of 1.50 (1/2) or above. A maximum of two bets per race will qualify and only those placed after 09:00 on the day of the race will be eligible.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stakes using the matched betting calculator.

betway

Aim to lose no more than £0.60 on each of our 3 qualifying bets

So we will lose approximately £1.80 in qualifying for each £10.00 free bet.

Free Bets:

Our free bets will be credited by 09:00 the day after the final eligible bet has settled and will be valid for 24 hours.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% of our 2 x £10.00 free bets as cash, so around £16.00. If we take into consideration our daily qualifying loss of £1.80, this gives us a guaranteed overall profit of £12.40!

* Unfortunately, this offer was only available on Thursday and Friday’s Channel 4 racing and did not include Saturday. Having made £6.20 profit on Thursday’s racing, my qualifying losses of £1.80 on Friday, left me with an overall profit of £4.40 on this Betway offer. *
