William Hill Offer – 3.35 Kempton

There’s a big day of horse racing at Kempton today and you don’t want to miss this William Hill offer! Bet £20.00+ via mobile on The BetBright Chase (3.35 at Kempton) and William Hill will give us a £10.00 free bet to use on the first day of the Cheltenham Festival 2016. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.55 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

This is a mobile only offer and to qualify, we must place a Single £20.00+ bet at odds of 1.50 (1/2) or greater on the 3.35 at Kempton.

Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Ziga Boy.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stakes using my matched betting calculator…

Place £20.00 on Ziga Boy @ 8.50 = Potential profit of £150.00

smarkets white

Lay £18.93 on Ziga Boy @ 9.00 = Potential liability of £151.45

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Ziga Boy wins + £150.00 – £151.45 = £1.45 loss
Ziga Boy doesn’t win – £20.00 + £18.55 = £1.45 loss

So regardless of the result of the race, we will lose £1.45 in qualifying for our £10.00 free bet.

Free Bet:

Our £10.00 free bet will be credited by 09:00 on Tuesday 15th March 2016 and will expire at the end of that day’s Cheltenham racing.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% of our £10.00 free bet as cash, so around £8.00. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £1.45, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.55 on this William Hill offer!
