BoyleSports Offer – Scotland v Wales

Scotland host Wales in the 6 Nations on Saturday and BoyleSports are getting in on the action! Simply bet up to £20.00 on the First Tryscorer market in Scotland v Wales and BoyleSports will give us a free bet token worth 50% of our stake, to use on the First Tryscorer market in Ireland v France. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £5.49 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

To qualify for the maximum £10.00 free bet, we must place a bet of £20.00 on the First Tryscorer market in Scotland v Wales, which kicks off at 14:25 on Saturday 25th February 2017.

It’s entirely up to you who you place your qualifying bet on. At the time of writing the odds are poor, so I’ll use fictional odds in the following example and I’ll update the bottom of the post with my actual selection after the match.

We’ll need to lay our bet on the Betfair Exchange.

We can calculate our lay stakes using my matched betting calculator…

Place £20.00 on George North @ 11.00 = Potential profit of £200.00

betfair

Lay £18.41 on George North @ 12.00 = Potential liability of £202.51

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

North scores first try + £200.00 – £202.51 = £2.51 loss
North doesn’t score first try – £20.00 + £17.49 (£18.41 minus 5% commission) = £2.51 loss

So, regardless of who scores the first try, we’ll lose £2.51 in qualifying for our £10.00 free bet.

Free Bet:

Our £10.00 free bet will be credited upon placement of our qualifying bet and must be used on a First Tryscorer in Ireland v France (16:50 on Saturday 25th February 2017).

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract at least 80% of the £10.00 free bet as cash, so around £8.00. If we take into consideration our qualifying loss of £2.51, we should make a guaranteed profit of £5.49 on this BoyleSports offer!

* I actually placed my qualifying bet on Tim Visser at back odds of 13.00 and lay odds of 14.50, meaning I made a profit of £5.09 on this BoyleSports offer. *
