It’s entirely up to you who you place your qualifying bet on. Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Julian Savea.
Ordinarily I would advise laying our selection at a betting exchange to minimise our qualifying loss. Personally, I’m not a fan of having money tied up in my exchange accounts for any length of time and at the time of writing, the lay odds are pretty poor. Julian Savea should bag us a few free bets to cover the outlay, so I’m just going to let this one run. If, however, you do choose to lay your qualifying bet, you can calculate your lay stake using the matched betting calculator.
Place £25.00 on Julian Savea @ 5.50 = Potential profit of £112.50
Free Bets:
We will receive a £5.00 free bet for every try that Julian Savea scores during the tournament. Free bets will be credited on a daily basis by 12:00 and will be valid for 7 days.
By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% out of any free bets we receive. Say for example, Julian Savea scores 10 tries, we would receive £50.00 worth (10 x £5.00) of free bets, £40.00 of which would be extracted as cash. If we take into account our potential qualifying profit of £112.50, this gives us a potential profit of £152.50!
