Titanbet Offer – Scotland v Ireland

The 6 Nations 2017 gets underway this afternoon and Titanbet are getting in on the action! Place a £10.00 pre-match bet on Scotland v Ireland and Titanbet will give us a £10.00 free bet to be used in play on the same match. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.80 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

Qualifying bets must be placed between 18:00 on Friday 3rd February 2017 and 14:25 (kick-off) on Saturday 4th February 2017, to be eligible.

To qualify for the £10.00 free in play bet, we must place a pre-match bet of £10.00 or more on Scotland v Ireland, at odds of 1.50 (1/2) or greater.

It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bet on. Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Ireland in the ‘Match Result’ market.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…

Place £10.00 on Ireland @ 1.50 = Potential profit of £5.00

smarkets white

Lay £10.00 on Ireland @ 1.52 = Potential liability of £5.20

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Ireland win + £5.00 – £5.20 = £0.20 loss
Ireland don’t win – £10.00 + £9.80 (£10.00 minus 2% commission) = £0.20 loss

So, regardless of the outcome, we’ll lose £0.20 in qualifying for our £10.00 free in play bet.

Free Bet:

Our £10.00 free bet will be credited upon placement of our qualifying bet and must be used in play on Scotland v Ireland (14:25 kick-off).

It may be worth placing our free in play bet at half-time, to reduce the risk of the odds fluctuating unfavourably whilst we are trying to get our lay bet on.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract at least 70% of the £10.00 free bet as cash, so around £7.00. If we take into consideration our qualifying loss of £0.20, we should make a guaranteed profit of £6.80 on this Titanbet offer!
