Coral Offer – Wimbledon 2016

Wimbledon 2016 gets underway on Monday and Coral are getting in on the action! Place a Win Single bet on the 2016 Men’s Wimbledon Outright winner market and if our player makes it to the final but loses, Coral will give us our money back as a free bet up to £25.00! Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £17.87 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

Qualifying bets must be placed between 08:00 on Friday 24th June 2016 and 11:30 on Monday 27th June 2016, to be eligible.

It’s entirely up to you who you place your qualifying bet on, but having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Novak Djokovic.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

You can find the Wimbledon Outright Winner market by entering ‘Wimbledon Outright Winner’ in the search box at the top of the homepage or by using the following link trail…

Smarkets > Tennis > Wimbledon 2016 > Outright Winner > Mens Singles

We can work out our lay stake by entering our odds into my matched betting calculator…

Place £25.00 on Djokovic @ 1.727 = Potential profit of £18.18

smarkets white

Lay £23.34 on Djokovic @ 1.87 = Potential liability of £20.30

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the two outcomes…

Djokovic wins + £18.17 – £20.30 = £2.13 loss
Djokovic loses in the final – £25.00 + £22.87 + £20.00 (extract 80% from £25.00 free bet) = £17.87 profit
Djokovic loses before the final – £25.00 + £22.87 = £2.13 loss

So, if Novak Djokovic loses in the 2016 Wimbledon Final, we will make a nice profit of £17.87. If Novak Djokovic wins Wimledon 2016 or gets knocked out before the final, we’ll have made a loss of £2.13. Risking £2.13 to make a profit of £17.87, gives us effective odds of 9.39, so given that the odds of Djokovic reaching the final are 1.40, this is a profitable offer in the long run.

In the event that Novak Djokovic loses in the 2016 Wimbledon Final, our free bet will be credited within 24 hours. Free bets will be valid for 4 days and the free bet stake is not included in any returns.

If you’re unsure how to extract 80% of any free bet as cash, please see my free bet strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
