ACCA (again sorry!)

  • Hi Guys,
    First post in a while!

Thought it was time I started on the Acca’s. I feel the best method for me personally is the Lay all at the start method, I presume the no lay method is probably more beneficial, however guess i’m just a wimp!

    Result Bookmaker Exchange Your Profit
    All win (24%) £68 -£40 £28
    1 lose (40%) -£5 -£7.50 -£12.50
    2 lose (26%) -£25 £25 £0
    3 lose (9%) -£25 £57.50 £32.50
    4 lose (1%) -£25 £90 £65
    All lose (0.1%) -£25 £122.50 £97.50

I found the above online, this is based off a £25 stake and back and lay odds of 1.3/1.32. I assume this is correct?

    Any tips would be appreciated!
    Thanks

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Just getting confused/taking the qualifying loss into account twice probably!

Cheers for the reply though, glad to see im on the right track. I guess more often than not choosing teams with this low odds you’d expect most to win so the chances of 2/3+ losing is slim, however, anything can happen in football i guess!

Yeah even though more losses is a better result for you, you still want that to be a slim chance. As i think FoG mentioned early in the thread, even though one loser is your worst result with this method, you still want that to be your most likely outcome.

You have about £13 EV there, so just a case of doing as many as you can and letting the results take care of themselves!

Betman yes O7 is what I figure is the expected value. If I pasted the wrong link I’ll double check. Don’t know why it would download as PDF.

Ryan that’s a pretty good acca for your first shot! 20%+ return on investment I reckon. Wills odds look good victor werent giving 1.1 on Barca or Celtic when I was looking yesterday. I only got 1.06 and 1.07 or something like that.

Another note since Barca and PSG are playing tomorrow if you’re acca is dead then no need to lay them although I suppose it’s up to you if you prefer to lay them all up front.

Cheers fog. Was just an issue with the phone, downloaded to my Google drive off the laptop so I can use it now.
Looks like u do some of the US sports accas too?

I used to do some of them on betvictor and betstars when bv had the trebles offer and when betstars min odds were decent.

Nothing out there any more for American sports that I know.

Fred have 5 team us sports insurance, no min odds- although doesn’t sound like u have Fred anymore
I was fully expecting to lose Fred around Christmas but hoping the fact I’ve started doing these rescued me.

I’m doing a lot of ‘lock in’ acca’s at the mo with WH,Coral,Fred and Dafabet mainly. Most have lost 2 legs before the end luckily enough so acca over.profit £3-£5 made to the exchange.I do keep checking several times a day to make sure I haven’t missed any lays lol,I am off sick from work at the mo after an op so I have got the time!
Trying to set them up so one finishes a day,if I can make £10-£15 a day out of it i’ll be happy (until the gubbings come that is!).

I haven’t tried dafabet. Might add them or replace victor as bet victor have only £10 refund.

Min odds per leg is 1.3 for dafabet. Does that make it a lot harder biscuit? How are their odds? I gave up on Boyle because they were 1.3 min odds too but all had to be settled same day and their website was junk, slow at loading hard to get a coupon with games you wanted on.

188Bet any good? They always email their acca offer

188bet terms look okay. Min odds 1.2 are a bit of a pain but pretty much the standard.

The bit that puts me off is:

“The maximum value of the Free Bet is £/€50 per member; each member may only claim on this Promotion for a maximum of four (4) accumulator bets within a calendar month within the Promotion Period.”

So yea fine do it for the first week or so of the month up until you have hit 4 refunds… then what do you do?

Not bad for someone like me starting off though, however, clearly WH is one of the best with no min odds on all top leaguea etc

Well Man City didn’t win so thats one leg down, Celtic won of course. That leaves Barca, Man Utd & Chelsea to go. If I end up with just City losing I think i’ll have a small loss, if any other team fails to win then the profit starts to come in

@RyanB I had City in 3 Acca’s,Them not winning was good for me as I had laid them against the refund so pleased with that 🙂

@Fog-Blog- Dafa not too bad, I use Oddsmonkey software to find the games,I reset the filter to min 1.3 max 1.6/7/8 etc until one comes up with an above £3 profit minimum.
The only time I had a refund from them though I spent about 45 mins on live chat chasing it up.So,It will be interesting to see if it happens again!

Yup I had lay’d mine as well and it was the one with the largest liability so should only be a small loss for me if all the others win, just need another not to win.

My Ladbrokes in play one won again so can’t comment on that, but think I’ll swerve the inplay legs now. (Even if they do always win!)
