Deposit with Paypal

  • Hi lads, my mate is offering to give me his drivers licence photo + his bank statement for free! However, he isn’t willing to give me his card and I’ll have to use PayPal. If his PayPal isn’t linked with a bank account will I be able to deposit to bookies sites if I send money from my PayPal?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yep absolutely fine, for a while. If it’s a lightly used account at some point with all the transfers into it etc. PayPal will need you to verify it, it’s like 1.7 – 1.9k or something. But at that point you’ll need to use a bank account I believe to verify.

You’ll need to have some deposits applied to the bank account, which you need to tell them the amounts, and also docs. Had to do this with the wife’s and second PayPal of mine.

Might just try to do all offers for FBs on here, then leave Paypal and deposit with Skrill? He’ll be applying for a mortgage otherwise there would have been no problem. Ahh ffs.

Trying to multi account with only half of what you need without the full support of your ‘client’ while you’ve only started Matched Betting in the last couple of months? Recipe for disaster to be fair, will not enjoy the incredulous threads of ‘Paypal keeping my 3k for no reason!!!’ or ‘Skybet refusing to let me withdraw!!!’ etc, etc. Wouldn’t be surprised if you’re too blatent that it lands you in real trouble. Oh not to mention the mortgage thing, as a friend I’d be making sure to steer clear of any potential that could harm that…

Is there anything positive/not-full-of-negativism that you’ve posted under a topic of mine feltt1p? If you can’t help, why on earth would you bother to comment? I’m not going to multi-account, he knows what I need his documents for and I know how short careers are on here, I want to have insurance that when my most valuable bookies decide to get rid of me, I’d still continue to use them. My aim is to clear up every easy bonus with his stuff and then leave it until I’m gubbed.

Tony, that is the EXACT definition of multi accounting mate. using someone elses ID to make yourself a new account. felt is actually being helpful because this could go tits up very quickly and you could be facing fraud charges.

Probably not Tony, you’ve not given me cause to (on topics you require help with). I am helping in saying don’t bother with it. Seems to me you’re trying to run before you can walk.

and that’s the very definition of multi account (using multiple accounts, not your own name). What do you think it is?

I thought you were referring to placing bets with two accounts at the same time which I won’t be aiming to do.

Tony ive been doing this almost a year and a half im gubbed off most sites and i still wont risk multiaccounting. Id be gutted if i got shutdown and had a load of money witheld. Surely theres plenty easier stuff to do than trying to multi after a couple of months?. That said theres some clever people on here who know exactly how to do it and ive nothing but admiration for them. Hopefully your one of them if you are gonna do it.

“Risk” multi-accounting? Where is the risk? If you do it properly, WITH THE FULL CONSENT, CO-OPERATION AND UNDERSTANDING of your patsy, then there is zero chance of losing funds, etc….

By doing it properly I obviously mean not running accounts at the same bookie off the same device/wifi, ensuring you have ALL the details, documents and credentials you need (or might need) from your patsy, and ensuring there is good communication between you both (to avoid the “bank called my mate and he shook his head when asked what all these gambling deposits were” type posts you see on here).

Having said all that, I would not advise the OP to try this as it is very clear that you are not the kind of bloke @Pickle is describing at the end of his post.

I’d say its a sad life when your mates are only patsies.

    Couldn’t agree more.

I am, of course, using the term patsy somewhat tongue in cheek. I don’t think you can have the kind of understanding you need to do this well unless it’s a close mate with absolute trust both ways.

I have thousands of pounds technically owned by mates. There is no way I would do that unless I trusted them implicitly.
