Paddy Power – "Green Thursday" ?

  • Paddy doing some boosted odds, every hour, on the hour (from 2pm to 7pm) on Thursday 24th.

No idea whether these will be much good. The blurb say limited volume and £10 max bets on each offer.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Tony if you google paddy power green friday or black friday you will see the list of boosts that they had for the last two years. For example Utd and City both to win that weekend was boosted from 5/2 to 5/1.

More like value bets rather than anything that you can matched bet (back and lay).

I remember that I had a punt on every one last year, none of them won so that was minus €90 for me – paddy got lucky.

@FoG Yeah, I was at this lark last November so I have records of all the offers that I took up on that day, including that City/Utd boost! It was the first thing I ever sequentially laid at that point in time, I remember sitting working it out myself for ages, ha!

Like you say, many of the offers were obscure and some where not really layable, but I still made some decent coin out of it looking back at the records.

Other “good” bookies for black friday last year were BetBright (who tweeted their offers and then let them sit live for literally seconds in some cases!) and SkyBet.

I see Sky have already said that they will be doing something for it on Friday, so I’m kinda glad that Paddy have decided to go a day early as I will be at work both days 🙁

Just went back on my paddy account to check there too Tony. I lost €90 on the boosts all unlayed on Black Friday last year, but still made €100+ profit that one day. This time last year was my golden era. I finished up €2,500 up for the month and back then I was so amateur, I had only a few bookies on the go only really main one was paddy…. didn’t know anything about sequential lays, acca insurance, Bet365, extra place races …..

    It was so easy.

Now there is still money to be made, just have to work harder for it.

Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal from 5/2 to 9/2 max £20 for the first one. Will this be layable on betfair considering two of the games are on saturday and two are on sunday?

    Max is £10 (well, £11.11) not £20

Can be sequentially layed and at current odds the lays add up to 4.52 so some value

Taken as a £10 punt here, will consider locking in some profit if the first 2 or 3 win

    Sat 3pm Liverpool (v Sunderland)
    Sat 5.30pm Chelsea (v Tottenham)
    Sun 14.15pm Arsenal (v Bournemouth)
    Sun 16.30pm Man U (v West Ham)

Was max £20 at just after 2pm when I checked, obviously reduced it.

looking at fixtures, can be sequentially layed at odds near 4.5 so can probably guarantee about £2 but probably worth punting with locking in profit if first 2 or 3 legs come in, the ideal would be for the Arsenal game to be played before Chelsea v Spurs as that is the main leg I can see falling down.
