New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Pinned tweet looks to have changed and can’t see anything from them about skybet…
+0Do you run/are you associated with that twitter account supert?
I only ask as you have “innocuously promoted” them twice now – no harm in it, just curious if you are drumming up business?
Was the Skybet loophole exploitable by those gubbed? If so, what was it?
+0Surely advertising the horses to get on removes the value? There’s loads of followers now and if they’re all chucking lay money down on the exchange the value goes…..?
+0Plus also getting on hours early risks the non-runner scenario.
+0I saw the tweet it was a screenshot of him having backed Ballyandy to place at 1.46 on betfair and Not to place was 4.33 on sky. Whether these two prices were both available at the same time or not, i don’t know because the tweet was after the event.
But as he says could be something to look out for..
+1I’ve seen you advertise this on three different posts now lol
+0Running it isnt he FACT!
+0Im just letting you guys know what i saw!! They backed not to place on sky and whatever they stood to win from that placed that exact amount on to place on the exchanges!! The example showed £55 profit from 1 race!!
£120 @ 4.33 paid £520 so £400 profit…. so put £400 on 1.46 gives £184 if places!!
The horse placed so £174 after commission minus £120 initial stake gave £55 profit!!
I looked at 3 races after and this method would have made you over £100 with £100 starting stakes on sky!!
Dont shoot the messenger lol+0So it’s not your twitter account then? You haven’t really answered the question… 😉
All great advice and tips btw, not knocking them (you?) at all. I see that our very own Matt follows them
+0They posted a cracker now for 3.15a
Valaadom… 12.0/11.5….. place 3.75/3.1Get your mortgage ew on that one pmsl
+0Thanks Supert. On that.
+0I’m still being stupid in getting my head around this could someone help.
So taking the 3.15 at Aintree as an example:
Back Valaadom {To Win} @ 12.0 E/W (with a bookie) say £5 so stake £10
Lay Valaadom {To Win} @ 11.5 (with smarkets) – How much am I laying?
Lay Valaadom {To Place} @ 3.1 (with smarkets) – Again how much would I be laying?= Profit?
+0If you have enough money to stake 100+ EW on these you’d make so much, I’m stuck to £10 EW atm but gradually getting the funds up
+0Hehe, so it is your twitter account – nice one!
…and to think that you said this was a strategy to avoid on Beesty’s original thread 😉
+0Split it into 2 bets, so you’ve got £5 on it to win 12/11.5. Then you’ve got £5 to place 3.75/3.1 (ish). Use https://www.trickybet.net/lay-calculator to work out how much you want to lay/underlay etc
