William Hill New Horse Racing Offer

  • Hi all. I’m fairly new to matched betting so still getting to grips how to play certain offers. My first thought was this looks good but not sure how to play it. Any advice??

    HIGH 5
    Our New Horse Racing Offer

One in three National Hunt (jumps) races were won by five or more lengths last season.

With that in mind, we give you our new racing offer – High 5. Place a bet on selected jumps meetings, and if a horse wins by 5 or more lengths…

» Back the winner and you’ll get a 25% bonus.
» Finish second and get money back as a free bet.

There’s a High 5 meeting every single day:
    ‣ Friday and Saturday – All jumps meetings.
    ‣ Sunday to Thursday – One selected meeting.
    ‣ All live Channel 4 races

It all starts this Friday, just in time for the top class racing at Cheltenham’s three day Open Meeting.

So if your horse romps home, or finishes behind a clear winner, we’ve got this jumps season covered.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Managed a single refund, for a second by 5L+. Plenty winners, but none by the magic number unfortunately. Very frustrating day

Summed up by that last race at Musselburgh where Wonderul Charm didn’t even both trying to put any distance between himself and the others. He was clearly a different gravy but the jockey never reached for the whip. Even without it it looked like he could have shaken it up to go on and win by 12l+ if he had been bothered. Guess he just needs to win though, not appease idiots like me, haha!

    Any good for you?

This was my first proper day of doing this. Got f all haha. Will Hill’s odds updates are atrocious – even when you refresh the page they’re still out of date! Really bad.

Was Musselburgh on the list today? The banner on William Hill states ‘Ascot, Haydock, Taunton and Navan’. No mention of Musselburgh. I had a winner by 5 lengths earlier but no free bet yet. Just wondering.

Yeah, it was! Todays was Sandown, Musselburgh, Fairyhouse, and Wetherby. Its in the email I got last night.

Always the way, after trying all day, the last race of the day I won on! Finally. Had Whispering Storm which according to the RP won by about 6 lengths. Fingers crossed..

@jameslegg97 cheers, previous times the free bet comes through within half hour or so. Not sure how long it can take though. What’s the longest people have had to wait?

Although got a winner made a huge mistake laying the bet. Didn’t notice the first lay got part matched and then placed the lay again. Was in the last few moments so no time to correct it…..lost just over £100. First mistake in over a year of MB, guess it was going to happen eventually. Could do with the free bet though which is around £80 to make up for it. Fingers crossed.

Saturday never seems the best for this offer…makes me wonder if Cheltenham will be the same for William Hill and to not save my account on there till then

I was up about £5 on the william hill horse racing offer, hit one free bet, better than losing but not worth the hours put in. Then I remembered afterwards i’d forgotten to lay a price boost I had on betfred for £50 , too busy doing my high 5’s , it lost 🙁

Free bet came through in the end, pretty much broke even for the day after the mistake. Can’t complain too much, just a shame as it would have been a nice days profit with only 4 bets made today.

you made £80 off a single free bet. how you manage that?

The free bet was £80, not made £80 from it. But as the max free bet is £100 you could easily make £80 plus from it.

what was the offer/bet you made it on and ql?

The horse won by 5 lengths so 25% winnings bonus as free bet. Odds were 8 / 7.8 so small qual profit.
