Man Utd v Tottenham Offer – 10Bet

It’s Man Utd v Tottenham in the FA Cup Semi-Finals tonight and you don’t want to miss this Double Winnings offer from 10Bet. Simply place a £10.00+ pre-match bet on either team to win and if our selected team win by two or more goals, 10Bet will double our winnings up to £20.00, in free bets! Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £12.20 and here’s how…

The Terms:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

Qualifying bets must be placed between 00:00 on Thursday 19th April 2018 and 17:15 (kick-off) on Saturday 21st April 2018, to be eligible.

To qualify, we must place a £10.00+ pre-match bet on either team to win in the ‘1X2 FT‘ market (regular 90 minutes only).

The maximum free bet is £20.00 per customer and this will be credited within 24 hours of our qualifying bet being settled. Free bets will be valid for 7 days and free bet stakes are not included in any returns.

Min. pre-match bet £10.00 on Man Utd v Tottenham 1X2 Market, not before withdrawal | Free Bet credited if selection settled as Won and selected team wins by 2 Goals or more | Free Bet equal to winnings minus stake | Max. Free Bet £20 | Withdrawal before Free Bet is credited results in ineligibility | Terms apply | 18+

Qualifying bet:

It’s entirely up to you which team to go for. Having looked at the odds available, we could place our qualifying bet on Tottenham.

In order to work out our back stake, we need to divide £20.00 by 1.20 (back odds minus 1.00). This gives us a back stake of £16.67. It’s best that we stick to round numbers when placing our qualifying bet, so we should stake £15.00 instead.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Betfair as they have great liquidity and the site is really easy to use.

We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…

As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £14.41…

10Bet logo

Place £15.00 on Tottenham @ 2.20 = Potential profit of £18.00

Betfair logo

Lay £14.41 on Tottenham @ 2.34 = Potential liability of £19.30

Outcomes:

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Tottenham win the match by 1 goal + £18.00 – £19.30 = £1.30 loss
Tottenham win the match by 2+ goals + £18.00 – £19.30 + £13.50 (75% extracted from £18.00 free bet) = £12.20 profit
Tottenham don’t win the match – £20.00 + £13.68 = £1.32 loss

So, if Tottenham win the match by two or more goals, we’ll make a nice profit of £12.20. Any other outcome and we’ll lose a maximum of £1.32. Risking £1.32 to make a profit of £12.20, gives us effective odds of 10.24. So, given that Tottenham are odds of just 2.20 (6/5) to win the match by two or more goals, this is a profitable offer in the long run.

* Man Utd won the match 2-1, resulting in a loss of £1.32 on this 10Bet offer. *
