It’s Tottenham v Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday and you don’t want to miss this EnergyBet price boost available to ALL customers! They’ve enhanced Tottenham to beat Arsenal from 51/50 to a whopping 25/1, with the extra winnings paid out in bonus funds. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £9.35 and here’s how…
Key Terms:
- Only new customers who sign up via the special promotional link or those who already have an account can qualify by placing their bet between 00:01 on Thursday 3rd December 2020 and 16:29 on Sunday 6th December 2020.
- Minimum deposit of £10.00, to be eligible for this promotion.
- Deposited funds must be wagered at least once on sport before they can be withdrawn.
- We must stake £1.00 on Tottenham to win at the standard odds.
- If Tottenham win, the additional winnings gained from the 25/1 enhanced odds will be credited as bonus funds.
- Bonus funds must be wagered 3x at odds of 1.75 (3/4) or greater.
Strategy:
This offer is a little different to regular price boosts, but the strategy is still pretty much the same.
If Tottenham win, our bet will be paid out in cash at the standard odds of 51/50 and then topped up to 25/1 in bonus funds.
So, the first thing we need to do is work out the effective odds we’re getting on Tottenham, taking into account the wagering requirements on the bonus portion of our returns.
If Tottenham win, we’ll receive the following…
£2.02 cash
+ £23.98 in bonus funds
= £26.00 in total
Our £23.98 in bonus funds would need to be wagered 3 times at odds of 1.75 (3/4) or greater.
Using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to convert our bonus funds into around 85% cash, so £20.38. For more information on wagering bonuses, please see my bonus rollover guide.
£2.02 cash
+ £20.38 (converted from bonus)
= £22.40 total cash
We then just need to divide our total cash by our initial stake to get our effective odds…
£22.40 (total cash) ÷ £1.00 (stake) = 22.40 (effective odds)
Either exchange works for this offer
Betfair and Smarkets are both great options for this offer. If you’ve not used one of them, now is a great time to give them a try.
- Bet £10, Get £50 in free bets
- 0% commission for 60 days.
- Extend for 30 days via MBB at any time.
At the time of writing, laying our bet at Betfair gives us the biggest guaranteed profit.
We can calculate our lay stake using my Matched Betting Calculator. We just need to enter our effective odds of 22.40 as our ‘Back odds’…
As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £10.57…
Outcomes:
Let’s have a look at our profit/loss for the two potential outcomes…
So, regardless of the outcome, we’ll make a guaranteed profit of £9.35 on this EnergyBet Price Boost!
* Tottenham won the match 2-0, resulting in a profit of £9.36 on this EnergyBet offer. *

Guest userTo earn this bet offer do you literally just bet £1 on spurs, or is there a code or something?
Matt
1571There’s no code Ollie, you just need to make sure you sign up via the promotional link (if you’re a new customer) and deposit £10.00 prior to placing your bet.

Guest userHi what about current customers, it says this offer is also for us? Thanks.
Matt
1571Yes it’s available to all customers, so if you’re an existing customer you just need to make sure you deposit £10.00 before placing your bet.

Guest userNow we wait.
On the 8th time it came in.
Marcus
Guest userThis one is probably worth a £1 punt I feel.
Matt
1571Yes, nothing wrong with that approach Marcus.

Guest userI have seen this offer on here before, but when I go on EnergyBet it isn’t there, is there something I should be doing differently? Thanks.
Matt
1571They tend not to push these offers on site Elizabeth. If you’re unsure about it, you could take the same approach as Marcus (above) and just place the £1 bet without laying. That way, you reduce your risk and stand to win a larger amount if Tottenham win the match.
Spondy
Guest userHi Matt. Why only £1 bet? Is there a maximum stake or bonus that can be paid out?
Matt
1571It’s a 25/1 boost paid out on a £1 stake Spondy.

Carling_Mascot
20I’ve got £2.17 in my account now as the original winnings from the bet – hope it goes up in next 48 hours then!
Sally
Guest userHi Matt, do you know if they’ve credited the bonus yet? I have the winnings from the £1 but no sign of the bonus so far.
Sally
Guest userNo worries I just saw the comment above.

13Got mine as well! Wasn’t fully convinced they were going to pay out! So didn’t lock in profit this time around.
Karen
Guest userI wasn’t convinced either! I’m a bit confused now though. I’ve got £23.80 bonus…. Do I calculate as Normal or Free Bet SNR…? Any help would be appreciated. 🙂
Karen
Guest userSorry. I figured it out. Thanks anyway.
Mery
Guest userHi Matt, I’m quite new here, and have maybe very silly question…
I wagered my bonus funds at odds of 3, won and got over £60 in my bonus account.
How much should I wager for the 2nd time? £23.80 or £60?
Matt
1571Hi Mery. Don’t worry, it’s always best to ask if you’re unsure of something.
You need to wager your bonus 3x at odds of 1.75 (3/4) or greater. So, if your bonus was £23.80, you need to wager a total of £71.40 (£23.80 x 3). You’ve already wagered £23.80, so that leaves £47.60 still to go.
Hope that helps.
Mery
Guest userThank you Matt for your quick response and help! It makes more sense now 🙂
Matt
1571You’re welcome Mery!
oliver
Guest userI know this is a bit late, but I have the money of 11.02 from my original bet on spurs. I also have the 23.80 bonus funds, however when I try to place a bet of 23.80 it says I have insufficient funds. Why is this?
Thanks.
Matt
1571You need to wager your £10.00 deposit once, so that could be why. I would try wagering that first and then you should be able to wager the bonus.
Jon
Guest userHi Matt,
Received the bonus to my surprise
Wagered x 3 of 23.80 and layed as normal bets.
E.bet bonus won (with stake) 84.49, 53.55, lost 23.80
which with the £1 won to start should have made 115.25, but I have only received 91.45.
Lost 79.7 at exchange for the profit of 11.75 so I am happy! im just confused how it all worked out 😫 E.bet totals are a gap of 23.8 so assuming they just take off the original bonus? Just asking as dont want to mess it up if I get in to wagering again, I’m sure it’s something basic. Thanks for all your work!!
Jon
Guest userHi Matt,
Ignore my previous comment! Worked it out now 😂 forgot that the second bet stake was taken out of my firsts winnings rather than in addition.
Matt
1571No worries Jon. Pleased to hear it’s all worked out and people have made a nice profit!
