Betfred Offer – World Snooker Championship Semi-Finals 2017

The World Snooker Championship Semi-Finals are underway and Betfred are getting in on the action! Simply bet £10.00 in play at odds of 1.50 (1/2) or greater on both World Snooker Championship Semi-Finals and Betfred will give us a £10.00 free bet to be used in play on Sunday’s Final. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.00 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bets:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

To qualify for the £10.00 free in play bet, we must place a bet of £10.00 or more on Mark Selby v Ding Junhui and John Higgins v Barry Hawkins. Both Semi-Finals comprise of 4 sessions which will be played between Thursday 27th April 2017 and Saturday 29th April 2017.

It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bets on, as long as you place them in play at odds of 1.50 (1/2) or greater. It may be worth placing our qualifying bets during the mid-session interval or in between frames when the odds are fairly stable, as it reduces the risk of the odds fluctuating unfavourably whilst we are trying to get our lay bets on.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stakes using the matched betting calculator.

Aim to lose no more than £0.75 on each of our qualifying bets

So, we should lose a total of £1.50 in qualifying for our £10.00 free in play bet.

Free Bet:

Our £10.00 free in play bet will be credited within 15 minutes of the start of the Final, which is scheduled to get underway at 14:00 on Sunday 30th April 2017. If unused, our free bet will be removed by 10:00 on Tuesday 2nd May 2017.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract at least 75% of the £10.00 free bet as cash, so around £7.50. If we take into consideration our total qualifying loss of £1.50, we should make a guaranteed profit of £6.00 on this Betfred offer!
