Masters 2021 Snooker Offer – Betfred

The Masters 2021 snooker gets underway on Sunday and Betfred are getting in on the action! Simply bet £10.00+ on the outright winner and Betfred will give us a £2.00 free bet every time our selected player makes a century break. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £7.85 and here’s how…

Key terms

  • Applies to our first bet placed on The Betfred Masters 2021 – Outright market between 12:00 on Thursday 7th January 2021 and 13:00 on Sunday 10th January 2021.
  • Minimum stake of £10.00 (or £5.00 each way).
  • We’ll receive a £2.00 free bet every time our selected player scores 100 points or more (a century) in one visit.

Qualifying bet

If you’d like more information about qualifying bets and how they work, please see my qualifying bets guide.

It’s entirely up to you which player you place your qualifying bet on. Bear in mind that if your selected player makes it all the way to the final, your exchange funds will be tied up until Sunday 17th January 2021.

Having looked at the odds available, we could place our qualifying bet on Neil Robertson at back odds of 6.00 (5/1) and lay odds of 6.00.

Either exchange works for this offer

Betfair and Smarkets are both great options for this offer. If you’ve not used one of them, now is a great time to give them a try.

  • Money back as cash up to £20
  • 0% commission for 60 days

Outcomes

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

OutcomeBetfredBetfairProfit/Loss
Robertson wins+ £50.00– £50.15£0.15 loss
Robertson doesn’t win– £10.00+ £9.82£0.18 loss

So, no matter the outcome, we’ll lose a maximum of £0.18 in qualifying for our potential free bets.

Free bets

We’ll receive a £2.00 free bet every time Robertson makes a century break throughout the tournament. A century break is where a player scores 100 points or more in a single visit to the table.

Free bets will be credited within 24 hours of our player making a century break and will be valid for 7 days. The maximum amount of frames a player can win throughout the tournament is 28, so if Robertson goes all the way, we can expect him to make somewhere between 1 and 5 century breaks.

If he makes 5 century breaks, we’ll receive £10.00 in free bets. Using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to convert our free bets into 80% cash, so £8.00. If we take into account our minimum qualifying loss of £0.15, this gives us a potential profit of £7.85 on this Betfred offer!

* Neil Robertson made 1 century break and failed to win the tournament, resulting in a profit of £1.42 on this Betfred offer. *
