Partially/unmatched bets

Still learning and just want to check this isn’t a problem.
I just layed a bet on Betfair and the odds have drifted slightly. The bet is now split into two partially matched bets equaling the total stake.
Just wanted to check that this isn’t a problem? Is it ok to leave it how it is or should I cancel and recalculate for the new odds?
Also what’s the deal with unmatched bets? Will those usually sort themselves out if left?
