Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £61.20 and here’s how…
Qualifying bets
First of all, we need to select the team that we think are going to score the most goals in the tournament. I’ve decided to pick Germany as they have been the top scorers at the previous two World Cups (14 and 16 goals) and were also top scorers in European qualification, scoring 3 or more goals in all but 1 of their 10 qualifying matches. Germany share a group with Portugal and may face Belgium in the knockout stages but the beauty of this offer is that if your team gets knocked out, you automatically switch to the team that knocked yours out!

For this offer, we need to place a £5.00 bet at minimum odds of 1.50 (1/2) on every game that features our selected team. We should have to place 7 bets in total throughout the tournament.
Aim to lose no more than £0.40 per qualifying bet
7 x £0.40 = Total tournament loss of £2.80
Free Bets:
Every time Germany score a goal at the World Cup, we will receive a £5.00 free bet. By using straightforward matched betting, we are able to extract 80% of any free bet (see my Free Bet Strategy page), which in this case gives us £4.00 profit per free bet. This means we only need Germany to score one goal to break even and any more after that is clear profit. If Germany can replicate their 16 goals of 4 years ago, we will receive a whopping £80.00 worth of free bets, which gives us a potential overall profit of £61.20!
