I just wanna take a moment to say a fond fairwell to the fella

He’s won me and I’m sure many others a decent wedge over the years and have really amazing memories of him at Cheltenham

We said goodbye to two legends today… The black aeroplane Sprinter Sacre who’ll surely enjoy his retirement and the sad loss of the most majestic grey to grace the track…

Yeah that was awful and I felt for Nicky Henderson, having just paraded Sprinter Sacre before the race which was emotional enough for him as it was and then to see Simonsig get injured over the second fence. The commentator even said it looked bad and as soon as he said it I knew he was a goner.

RIP Simonsig 🙁

I knew as soon as I saw him hit the first mate… he should have been pulled straight away ?… easy to say in hindsight mind
