Check the back odds at Bet UK and the lay odds at Smarkets to find a suitable selection. Your qualifying bet must be placed at minimum odds of 1.80 (4/5).

Place your £10 qualifying back bet at Bet UK (within 7 days of registering).
Place your lay bet against the same selection at Smarkets.

Free bets

Your 3 x £10 free bets will be credited upon settlement of your qualifying bet. The free bets are valid on horse racing, any Bet Builder, and football. The Bet Builder must have 3+ selections and minimum total odds of 4.00 (3/1).
Check the back odds at Bet UK and the lay odds at Smarkets to find a suitable horse racing selection.
Use the ‘Free Bet‘ setting on the Matched Betting Calculator to calculate your lay stake.
Place your first £10 free back bet on horse racing at Bet UK (valid for 7 days).
Place your lay bet against the same multiple at Smarkets.
Repeat steps 10-13 for your remaining 2 x £10 free bets.

As a rough guide, limit your qualifying loss to around £0.50. Aim for £8 cash (80%) from your £10 free bet on horse racing, £6 cash (60%) from your £10 free Bet Builder and £8 cash from your £10 free bet on football. Based on those figures, you should make a £21.50 profit on this Bet UK offer.

  You need to build your multiple by adding each selection to your bet slip. You’ll then have an option to lay it as one bet.

Is this still only available on mobile? I look at their website and its advertised on there, no mention of claiming only on mobile. I ask because I had wanted to use the link on Topcashback to claim £15 cashback bonus when registering as well.

BetUK have not given me the free bet despite me meeting all the requirements. (bet on mobile, £10 stake, 1.5 min odds, opt into promotion).

Also, my current withdrawal request has been pending for days. Avoid this worthless site, it’s not worth trying to get their free bet.

  ‘Combination – Fourfold‘ or ‘Multiples – Fourfold‘
  
  The ‘Combination’ option simply combines all selections in your bet slip into one bet.
  
  The ‘Multiples’ option allows to you place multiple bets on your selections at once. For example, if you had four selections in your bet slip, you could select the ‘single’ option and that would place a single bet on all four selections at once.

Hi, I have an issue with the Bet Builder £10 free bet. On BetUK if I try to back on two different events I don’t get the option to use my £10 free bet, only if I choose two things for the same event, whereas on Smarkets you can only lay multiples if they’re different events?

  Yes, that’s correct. You need place a Bet Builder (same event) on selections that are layable as one bet at the betting exchange.
  
  For example, you could place your Bet Builder on ‘Team A to win / Both teams to score – Yes‘. You could lay this at Smarkets in their ‘Winner and both teams to score‘ market.

    Thank you for the reply. Currently looking to place the bet but again am a bit confused. So as an example, on Bet UK I am looking at the Saudi Arabia vs Mali event. I’m backing Mali, and then under ‘Total Goals’ am clicking Over 3.5, which gives me odds of 8.00. When laying then on Smarkets, I’m clicking on ‘Winner and over’ and then finding ‘Mali / over 3.5 goals’ at odds of 10.00.
    
    I’m confused because one seems to be total goals of the match at 3.5, whereas on Smarkets it seems to be total goals scored by Mali? Or it it total goals 3.5 on Smarkets as well?

      That’s the correct lay selection to match your back bet, Charlie.
      
      In the ‘Winner and over‘ market at Smarkets, ‘Mali / over 3.5 goals‘ is for Mali to win the match and there to be over 3.5 total goals.

  You can’t build and lay Bet Builders on Smarkets. Instead, you need to place your Bet Builder at the bookmaker on a combination that you can lay as one bet at Smarkets.
  
  For example, you could place your Bet Builder on ‘Home (Full Time) / Yes (Both Teams To Score)‘. You can then lay ‘Home / Yes‘ at Smarkets in their ‘Winner and both teams to score‘ market.

No matter what combination of bets on the same event that I choose on Smarkets, It keeps saying “Current selections are not available for a multiple at the moment.” when I switch from BUY to SELL. I think I’ll give up on the £10 bet builder one because it’s impossible for me.

    Yes, that’s the way to do it, Saulul. You can only build and lay multiples on different events at Smarkets.
    
    As you’ve done, for Bet Builders, you need to build a bet at the bookmaker that you can lay as one bet at the betting exchange. Please see my Bet Builders Guide for suggested combinations for different Bet Builder requirements.

Hi Matt,

Hands down the OddsMonkey subscription is the best thing I have bought! I have 2 quick questions:

1. As the Betfair Exchange charges 5% commission on any winnings from using their exchange, would you agree that I should keep most of my “float” in Smarkets and use Betfair more sparingly?

2. Have you tried Outplayed at all? I assume they are using the same sites for sign ups etc but I have seen reference to a new Lucky 15’s calculator that apparently is really good. What is a Lucky 15, can we identify the best bests to put within it without a “lucky 15 calculator” and do you think that oddsmonkey will follow suit with a similar calculator?

  Yes, I would recommend keeping most of your bankroll in your Smarkets account. As part of your OddsMonkey subscription, you can opt in to pay 0% commission with Smarkets, which will make a big difference to your total profits.
  
  A Lucky 15 involves betting on four selections and consists of all the combinations of bets possible. There are four singles, six doubles, four trebles and a four-fold, so 15 individual bets.
  
  Outplayed are a very similar platform to OddsMonkey. I haven’t used the new tool, but the idea seems decent enough. It’s another of those strategies where the variance is quite high, but it’s perhaps useful for using on gubbed accounts. Whether or not it’s worth the £150 monthly fee you’d have to pay to access it, I wouldn’t know.
  
  I’m sure OddsMonkey will be aware, and if they feel it’s worth adding to their own range of tools, I would imagine they’ll look to develop something similar.
