Place £25.00 on Daryl Gurney @ 2.00 = Potential profit of £25.00
Lay £24.88 on Daryl Gurney @ 2.06 = Potential liability of £26.37
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

So, if Daryl Gurney loses 7-5, we’ll make a nice profit of £48.63. Any other outcome and we’ll have made a loss of £1.37. Risking £1.37 to make a profit of £48.63, gives us effective odds of 36.50. So, given that the odds of Daryl Gurney losing 7-5 are 10.00, this is a profitable offer in the long run.
