Redbet Offer – Burnley v West Brom

Burnley host West Brom this afternoon and Redbet are getting in on the action! Simply bet £10.00+ on either Burnley or West Brom to win the match and Redbet will give us a £2.00 free bet for every goal our team scores! Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £7.53 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

Qualifying bets must be placed pre-match at odds of 1.80 or greater, on either Burnley or West Brom in the ‘1X2 Full-Time’ market. Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Burnley.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stakes using my matched betting calculator…

Place £10.00 on Burnley @ 2.55 = Potential profit of £15.50

smarkets white

Lay £9.73 on Burnley @ 2.64 = Potential liability of £15.95

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Burnley win + £15.50 – £15.95 = £0.45 loss
Burnley don’t win – £10.00 + £9.53 (£9.73 minus 2% commission) = £0.47 loss

So, regardless of the result of the match, we’ll lose a maximum of £0.47 in qualifying for our potential free bets.

Free Bets:

For every goal that Burnley score in the match, we’ll receive a £2.00 free bet on Tuesday 22nd August 2017, up to a maximum total of £10.00. Free bets will be valid for 7 days and free bet stakes are not included with any returns.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% of any free bets as cash.

Therefore, if Burnley are able to score 5 goals in the game, we’ll receive £10.00 in free bets, from which we can extract £8.00 cash. If we take into account our maximum qualifying loss of £0.47, this gives us a potential profit of £7.53 on this Redbet offer!

* Burnley lost the match 1-0, meaning I made a loss of £0.47 on this Redbet offer. *
