BetVictor Offer – Chelsea v PSG

I love BetVictor offers because their odds are some of the most competitive around.  If Chelsea fail to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, BetVictor will refund losing Correct Score, First/Last Anytime Goalscorer, Half-Time/Full-Time, Scorecast & Spincast as a FREE BET up to £10.00.  Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £6.67 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walkthrough guide on how to place your qualifying bets.

Whenever I do these BetVictor free bet offers, I always stick to the correct score market. I find the liquidity at the betting exchange is far better than goalscorer markets and I just feel more comfortable here.  We need to select a scoreline that sees Chelsea win on the night (this sees Chelsea qualify).  This ensures that if they fail to qualify, we will automatically be eligible for a free bet refund as our qualifying bet will have lost.  Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted for a 2-0 Chelsea win.

betvictor

Place £10.00 on 2-0 Chelsea @ 10.00 = Potential profit of £90.00

betfair

Lay £9.13 on 2-0 Chelsea @ 11.00 = Potential liability of £91.30

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the various outcomes…

2-0 Chelsea

£90.00 – £91.30 = £1.30 loss

Not 2-0 Chelsea and they fail to qualify

-£10.00 + £8.67 + £8.00 (Assumes an 80% return from our £10.00 free bet) = £6.67 profit

Not 2-0 Chelsea and they qualify

-£10.00 + £8.67 = £1.33 loss

If you’re not sure how to extract 80% of our £10.00 free bet, please see my Free Bet Strategy page for a walkthrough guide on how it should be done.

So we will make £6.67 profit if the game doesn’t finish 2-0 to Chelsea and they fail to qualify!  If the game finishes 2-0 to Chelsea or they do qualify, we will make a maximum loss of £1.33, which I’m sure you’ll agree is a risk well worth taking as the odds of Chelsea failing to qualify are currently 2.92.
