It’s Tottenham v Liverpool in the Champions League Final on Saturday and you don’t want to miss this Bet365 ‘Bet £50, Get £50’ offer! Place a pre-match single bet on Tottenham v Liverpool and Bet365 will give us a free bet equal to our largest pre-match bet, up to £50.00, to use in play. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £36.24 and here’s how…
Key Terms:
- This offer is invite only, available to customers who have received the promotional email, web message, text message, pop-up or mobile notification.
- We must place our qualifying bet on Tottenham v Liverpool before 20:00 (kick-off) on Saturday 1st June 2019.
- We’ll receive a free bet equal to our largest pre-match stake, up to a maximum of £50.00.
- The free bet will only become available once the match has kicked off.
Qualifying Bet:
If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
We should place our qualifying bet on either team to win as that will also qualify us for Bet365’s Early Payout promotion, where they’ll pay us out if our selected team goes two goals ahead.
Having looked at the odds available, we could place our qualifying bet on Liverpool in the Full Time Result market.
At the time of writing, laying our bet at Smarkets gives us the smallest qualifying loss.
We can calculate our lay stake using the ‘Qualifying Bet‘ setting on my matched betting calculator…
As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £49.74…
Place £50.00 on Liverpool @ 1.95 = Potential profit of £47.50
Lay £49.74 on Liverpool @ 1.98 = Potential liability of £48.74
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…
Outcome | Bookie | Exchange | Profit/Loss |
---|---|---|---|
Liverpool win | +£47.50 | -£48.74 | £1.24 loss |
Liverpool don’t win | -£50.00 | +£48.74 | £1.26 loss |
So, regardless of the outcome, we’ll lose a maximum of £1.26 in qualifying for our £50.00 free bet.
Free Bet:
Our £50.00 free bet will only become available once the match starts and must be used in play. Free bet stakes are not included in any returns.
If you’re unsure how to extract cash from a free bet, please see my Free Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
It’s impossible to know what odds will be available until the match has kicked off, but we should be aiming to extract around £37.50 cash (75%) from our £50.00 free bet.
I’ll use fictional odds for 2-1 Liverpool in the following example to give you an idea of how things should pan out.
We can calculate our lay stake using the ‘Free Bet‘ setting on my matched betting calculator…
As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £38.34…
Place £50.00 on 2-1 Liverpool @ 8.50 = Potential profit of £375.00
Lay £38.34 on 2-1 Liverpool @ 9.80 = Potential liability of £337.39
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…
Outcome | Bookie | Exchange | Profit/Loss |
---|---|---|---|
2-1 Liverpool | +£375.00 | -£337.39 | £37.61 profit |
Not 2-1 Liverpool | -£0.00 | +£37.57 | £37.57 profit |
So, with some decent odds, we’ll extract around £37.50 cash from our £50.00 free bet.
If we take into account our maximum qualifying loss of £1.26, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £36.24 on this Bet365 offer!
* Liverpool won the match 2-0, resulting in a profit of £36.26 on this Bet365 offer. *

Guest userAny ideas how it’s calculated of who gets invites and who doesn’t?
I never receive this offer… but rarely use bet365….
Dave The Rave
Guest userI only ever get £25 but then I rarely ever place bets with Bet365.
Spongenose
Guest userI’ve looked at this as well. Seems like it is a new customer offer. I exist on their books but have not had an invite either.

2Prob gubbed ?
Wingman
Guest userClue is in all your questions – you don’t / rarely use them so you don’t get the invites.
Start sticking £50 bets on football and you should start to receive them (worked for me).
Graham
Guest userIs betting at half time still inplay betting, just thinking as the odds will be steady at half time.
Pete
Guest userYeah half time counts for in play.
Wingman
Guest userAs Pete says, HT counts although in my experience the spread can be worse then. Definitely de-risks it so depends on attitude really (it’s also not to say that odds won’t change during half time – only that there’s no new information to inform that)
Jamie
Guest userI don’t bet much on b365 but always get the full £50 on these!
Vicky
Guest userI only done the welcome offer and got this one too.
Coral are doing bet £10 on winner and get £5 free bet for each goal (max 3)
Matt
1530It’s been a while since we’ve seen that offer from Coral.
I’ll get that added later today.
Ian
Guest userIn the past, you’ve shown us how to dutch (hopefully correct term) this offer, using another bookmaker to cover the 1X2 outcomes. Seem to remember it meaning a smaller outlay. Any reason why not to do it this time and if not a refresher on best way to go about it
Matt
1530That’s correct Ian, though back then the in play bet was a risk-free bet rather than a straight free bet.
With it being a free bet these days, it’s easier to just do a straightforward back and lay for both parts as outlined above.
Paul
Guest userAlways used to get £50 but won a fair amount and now limited to £5 on these .. They did say they would review but nothing has changed .. So just go for broke on the £5 !!
Sully
Guest userI use them a fair bit for gun bets but have still gone from 50 to 25 and now down to £10 for this offer so work that one out.. :/

Guest userNon gubbed bet365 is the best account ul ever have.to keep it. Don’t do horses. Stick to football. Mug bet as much as u can. I only use it for 2 up and free 50£ bets.
In my opinion . A non gubbed one is a goose that lays gold eggs. People pay good money for them

Guest user£10 back only Liv win @1.90, £10 FB back only Liv 2-0 @4.5. Cheers Bet365 (well me) for finally paying out something decent 😁
