Unibet Offer – Real Madrid v Barcelona

Real Madrid host Barcelona in La Liga on Sunday and Unibet are getting in on the action! Simply bet £25.00 on either Real Madrid or Barcelona to win the match and Unibet will give us a £5.00 free bet for every goal our team scores! Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £17.76 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

We must opt-in to this promotion to be eligible.

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

It’s entirely up to you who you place your qualifying bet on, as long as you place it pre-match on either Real Madrid or Barcelona in the ‘1X2’ market. Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Real Madrid.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stakes using my matched betting calculator…

Real Madrid v Barcelona - Unibet Offer

Place £25.00 on Real Madrid @ 2.10 = Potential profit of £27.50

smarkets white

Lay £23.23 on Real Madrid @ 2.28 = Potential liability of £29.73

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Real Madrid win + £27.50 – £29.73 = £2.23 loss
Real Madrid don’t win – £25.00 + £22.76 (£23.23 minus 2% commission) = £2.24 loss

So, regardless of the result of the match, we’ll lose a maximum of £2.24 in qualifying for our potential free bets.

Free Bets:

For every goal that Real Madrid score in the match, we’ll receive a £5.00 free bet by 18:00 on Monday 24th April 2017. Free bet stakes are not included with any returns.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% of any free bets as cash.

Therefore, if Real Madrid are able to score 5 goals in the game, we’ll receive £25.00 in free bets, from which we can extract £20.00 cash. If we take into account our maximum qualifying loss of £2.24, this gives us a potential profit of £17.76 on this Unibet offer!

* Real Madrid lost the match 3-2, meaning I made a profit of £5.76 on this Unibet offer. *
