BoyleSports Offer – Wales v Ireland

Wales host Ireland in the 6 Nations tonight and BoyleSports are getting in on the action! Simply bet up to £20.00 on the First Tryscorer market in Wales v Ireland and BoyleSports will give us a £10.00 free bet to use on the First Tryscorer market in England v Scotland tomorrow. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £5.68 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

To qualify for the £10.00 free bet, we must place a bet of £20.00 on the First Tryscorer market in Wales v Ireland, which kicks off at 20:05 tonight (Friday 10th March 2017).

It’s entirely up to you who you place your qualifying bet on. At the time of writing the odds are poor, so I’ll use fictional odds in the following example and I’ll update the bottom of the post with my actual selection after the match.

We’ll need to lay our bet on the Betfair Exchange.

We can calculate our lay stakes using my matched betting calculator…

As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £18.64…

Place £20.00 on George North @ 13.00 = Potential profit of £240.00

betfair

Lay £18.64 on George North @ 14.00 = Potential liability of £242.32

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

North scores first try + £240.00 – £242.32 = £2.32 loss
North doesn’t score first try – £20.00 + £17.70 (£18.64 minus 5% commission) = £2.30 loss

So, regardless of who scores the first try, we’ll lose a minimum of £2.30 in qualifying for our £10.00 free bet.

Free Bet:

Our £10.00 free bet will be credited upon placement of our qualifying bet and must be used on a First Tryscorer in England v Scotland (16:00 on Saturday 11th March 2017).

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract at least 80% of the £10.00 free bet as cash, so around £8.00. If we take into consideration our maximum qualifying loss of £2.32, we should make a guaranteed profit of £5.68 on this BoyleSports offer!

* I actually placed my qualifying bet on Keith Earls at back odds of 11.00 and lay odds of 13.00, meaning I made a profit of £4.60 on this BoyleSports offer. *
