Coral Offer – Six Nations 2016

The Six Nations 2016 gets underway tomorrow and you don’t want to miss this Coral offer. Place a £20.00+ bet on any 6 Nations match on Saturday and Coral will give us a £10.00 free bet to use on Ireland v Wales on Sunday. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £5.52 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

To qualify, we must place a Win Single bet of £20.00+ at odds of 1.50 (1/2) or greater on any 6 Nations match being played on Saturday 6th February 2016. Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Scotland beating England.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stakes using my matched betting calculator…

As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £18.39…

Place £20.00 on Scotland @ 3.20 = Potential profit of £44.00

smarkets white

Lay £18.39 on Scotland @ 3.50 = Potential liability of £45.98

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Scotland win + £44.00 – £45.98 = £1.98 loss
Scotland don’t win – £20.00 + £18.02 = £1.98 loss

So regardless of the result of match, we will lose £1.98 in qualifying for our £10.00 free bet.

Free Bet:

Our £10.00 free bet will be credited by 08:00 on Sunday 7th February 2016 and can only be used on the pre-match or in play markets of Ireland v Wales (15:00 kick-off). The free bet will expire at the end of the match.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 75% of our £10.00 free bet as cash, so around £7.50. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £1.98, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £5.52 on this Coral offer!

If you’re unsure how to extract 75% of our £10.00 free bet, check out my Free Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
