Lay £9.63 on Liverpool @ 2.18 = Potential liability of £11.36
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…
| Liverpool win | + £10.80 – £11.36 + £3.75 (extract 75% from £5.00 free bet) = £3.19 profit |
| Liverpool don’t win | – £10.00 + £9.43 (£9.63 minus 2% commission) = £0.57 loss |
So, if Liverpool win, we’ll have made a profit of £3.19. If Liverpool don’t win, we’ll have made a loss of £0.57. Risking £0.57 to make a profit of £3.19 gives us effective odds of 6.60. So, given that Liverpool are odds of 2.08 to win the match, this a profitable offer in the long run.
