Lay £9.35 on Copperhead @ 5.90 = Potential liability of £45.81

So, if Champ wins, we’ll make a nice profit of £7.16! Any other outcome and we’ll lose a maximum of £0.84. Risking £0.84 to make a profit of £7.16, gives us effective odds of 9.52. So, given that Champ is odds of just 4.333 (10/3) to win the race, this is a profitable offer in the long run.
