Betfred Offer – Premier League £10.00 Free Bet

There’s a big day of Premier League action to look forward to and Betfred are getting in on the action! Simply bet £10.00 in play on both Crystal Palace v Hull City and West Ham v Liverpool and Betfred will give us a £10.00 free bet to be used in play on Tottenham v Man Utd. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.00 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bets:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

To qualify for the £10.00 free in play bet on Tottenham v Man Utd (16:30), we must place a bet of £10.00 or more on both Crystal Palace v Hull City (12:00) and West Ham v Liverpool (14:15).

It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bets on, as long as you place them in play at odds of 1.50 (1/2) or greater. It may be worth placing our qualifying bets at half-time when the odds are fairly stable, as it reduces the risk of the odds fluctuating unfavourably whilst we are trying to get our lay bets on.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stakes using the matched betting calculator.

Aim to lose no more than £0.75 on each of our two qualifying bets

So, we should lose a total of £1.50 in qualifying for our £10.00 free in play bet.

Free Bet:

Our £10.00 free in play bet will be credited within 15 minutes of Tottenham v Man Utd kicking off (16:30 on Sunday 14th May 2017). If unused, our free bet will be removed by 10:00 on Monday 15th May 2017.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract at least 75% of the £10.00 free bet as cash, so around £7.50. If we take into consideration our total qualifying loss of £1.50, we should make a guaranteed profit of £6.00 on this Betfred offer!

Extracting profit from our free bet can be a little tricky when betting in play. One option is to wait until half-time, as the odds don’t fluctuate as much as when the game is live. If you place your free bet and then something happens in the game that changes the lay odds, it will affect your profit one way or the other.

Another option is to place it on 1-1, 2-1 or 3-1 whilst the score is 0-0. By selecting a scoreline where both teams score, it reduces the risk of the odds fluctuating unfavourably.
