Betsafe Offer – Capital One Cup Final

Liverpool go head to head with Manchester City on Sunday in the Capital One Cup Final and Betsafe are getting in on the action. Simply place a £25.00 pre-match bet on Liverpool v Manchester City and Betsafe will give us a £10.00 free bet to be used in play on the same game. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £46.50 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bet on, as long as you place it at the minimum odds of 1.50 (1/2) or above.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stakes using the matched betting calculator.

Aim to lose no more than £1.00 on your qualifying bet

Free Bet:

Our £10.00 free bet must be used in play on Liverpool v Manchester City, which kicks off at 16:30 on Sunday 28th February 2016. When we place our free in play bet, we must check the “(FB amount) Free Bet” box on our betslip.

It’s been noted over previous weeks of doing the Betsafe in play offers, that there is a distinct lack of available markets in play that enable us to lock in a guaranteed profit. I’ve therefore resorted to using this free bet as a punt.

If I were to place my £10.00 free in play bet on a winning selection at odds of 6.00, I would have winnings of £50.00 that would need rolling over once (at odds of 1.50 or above) before I’m able to withdraw. Using straightforward matched betting, I should be able to extract 95% of the winnings as cash, giving me cash returns of £47.50. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £1.00, this gives us a potential profit of £46.50!

I will update the bottom of this blog post with my actual in play selection after the match.

* I actually placed my free in play bet on the match being drawn 0-0. The match was drawn 1-1 after 90 minutes, meaning I made a loss of £1.00 on this offer. *
