As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £20.41…
Place £20.00 on West Ham, Brighton & Norwich all to win (90 mins only) @ 6.00 = Potential profit of £100.00
Lay £20.41 on West Ham/Brighton/Norwich All To Win @ 5.50 = Potential liability of £91.84
Outcomes
Let’s have a look at our profit/loss for the two potential outcomes…
So, if our treble loses, we’ll break even and there’s no harm done. However, if our treble wins, we’ll make a nice risk-free profit of £8.16 on this Paddy Power price boost!
Note: If you would prefer to lock in a smaller profit, you can simply use the ‘Standard‘ tab on the calculator for a guaranteed profit of £1.45.
* Norwich were the only team not to win their respective fixture, resulting in break even on this Paddy Power price boost. *

9This is the second week that the lay odds make it unprofitable on the day. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks
Matt
1531Just had a quick look Electro and it seems Paddy Power have increased the odds to 6.50 (11/2) for this one. So with lay odds of 6.20, there’s still a small profit to be had.
Ordinarily though, if the odds move unfavourably, it’s just a case of waiting to see if they shorten. There’s no way of knowing which way the odds are going to go so it’s always best to get on price boosts early where possible.

1531Good luck Steve.

9Thanks! I will try! Somehow I thought that was less suspicious doing it on the day for the bookies
Matt
1531Yes it can be a bit of a balancing act. I would say it’s fine to take price boosts early though as they can be available for a limited time only and the bookies expect punters to be impulsive.
