Soccer Saturday Price Boost
The maximum stake will vary per customer, but it’s likely to be £10.00.
It’s entirely up to you which combination you go for. Having looked at the odds available, we could place our qualifying bet on Norwich, Watford & Swansea all to win at back odds of 8.00 (7/1).

We can calculate our underlay stake using my Matched Betting Calculator. We just need to open up the ‘ADVANCED’ section and click the ‘Underlay’ tab…
As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £10.21…
Place £10.00 on Norwich, Watford & Swansea all to win @ 8.00 = Potential profit of £70.00
Lay £10.21 on Norwich/Watford/Swansea @ 7.20 = Potential liability of £63.30
Outcomes
Let’s have a look at our profit/loss for the two potential outcomes…
So, if our treble loses, we’ll break even and there’s no harm done. However, if our treble wins, we’ll make a nice risk-free profit of £6.70 on this Sky Bet Soccer Saturday Price Boost!
Note: If you would prefer to lock in a smaller profit, you can simply use the ‘Standard‘ tab on the calculator for a guaranteed profit of £0.91.
* Swansea’s match against Sheffield Wednesday was postponed, meaning the 7/1 (8.00) treble was adjusted to an 11/4 (3.75) double on Norwich and Watford both to win.
Lay bets at Betfair and Matchbook were declared void, meaning we had to lay our unmatched double at Smarkets (odds of around 3.25). Norwich and Watford both won their respective fixtures, resulting in a profit of £4.53 on this Sky Bet price boost.
Lay bets at Smarkets were adjusted to a double, so if you layed with them, you should have also made a small profit. *

13Matt, the Swansea game has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Matt
1537Okay, the Sky Bet treble will be adjusted to a double on Norwich and Watford.
Betfair and Matchbook should void any lay bets, whereas Smarkets will keep it open as a double and adjust the odds.
Jeremy
Guest userI laid this at Betfair and it’s still showing in my bet list. Should I just assume they’ll cancel it and lay it again just for the double?
Matt
1537According to the rules, it will be voided Jeremy. Perhaps they’re awaiting official confirmation that the match won’t be played within the the next 3 days…
Should a match involving any of the stated teams be abandoned or postponed and not completed within 3 days, all selections involving those teams will be declared void.
Mark
Guest userThis is a mess, I contacted Betfair live chat and they said if Swansea game gets rearranged within 72 hours it’ll be valid treble but if not it will settle as a double at reduced odds.
I cashed out my back bet at Sky so I’m in a quandry on what to do now as don’t want to be exposed.
Matt
1537The rules state that the match has to be completed within 72 hours for the bet to stand, it’s not just a case of a new date being announced within that timeframe. Obviously I can’t say for certain, but based on the information we have, I think you’ll be okay.
Unfortunately, situations like this involving postponements are a real possibility at the moment, not just with the weather but with the COVID situation too.
Mark
Guest userYes, but they will settle as double otherwise?
That’s what live chat said.
Matt
1537It’s difficult to trust information provided by a bookmaker’s live chat service. As is the case here, their advice often contradicts the terms/rules.
I would be inclined to trust the rules over live chat in this instance, but it’s your call Mark.
Mark
Guest userYeah I screenshotted the conversation as proof, the double looks extremely likely to be landing.
Matt
1537Yeah that’s always a good idea Mark. Interested to hear how it panned out for you…
Mark
Guest userThankfully live chat were wrong and it got voided last night, it’s bad that they are giving false information out like that though.
Matt
1537Unfortunately, live chat can be a complete waste of time Mark. I would always be inclined to trust the terms/rules. If anything goes wrong, it’s better having the terms to argue with than false information provided by live chat.
Anyway, I’m pleased it worked out for you.
Mark
Guest userYep, they should have voided it before 3pm to remove any doubt
