US PGA Championship 2019 Offer – Bruce Betting

The US PGA Championship 2019 tees off on Thursday and you don’t want to miss this Bruce Betting offer! Simply place a Tournament Winner bet and if our selection is clear leader at the end of Round 1, 2 or 3, Bruce Betting will pay our bet out as a winner. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £217.99 and here’s how…

Key Terms:

  • The minimum and maximum stakes are £5.00 and £20.00 respectively.
  • We must place our bet on the USPGA Championship 2019 – Outright Winner market (pre-tournament bets only).
  • If our selection is the clear leader at the end of Round 1, 2 or 3, Bruce Betting will pay our bet out as a winner.

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my ‘Qualifying Bets Guide‘ for a walkthrough guide on how it should be done.

It’s entirely up to you which player you go for. Having looked at the odds available, we could place our qualifying bet on Dustin Johnson.

At the time of writing, laying our bet at Smarkets gives us the smallest qualifying loss.

We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…

Bruce Betting logo

Place £20.00 on Dustin Johnson @ 11.00 = Potential profit of £200.00

Smarkets logo

Lay £18.36 on Dustin Johnson @ 12.00 = Potential liability of £201.96

Outcomes:

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Outcome Bookie Exchange Profit/Loss
Dustin Johnson wins having lead after a previous round +£200.00 -£201.96 £1.96 loss
Dustin Johnson wins having not lead after a previous round +£200.00 -£201.96 £1.96 loss
Dustin Johnson doesn’t win having lead after a previous round +£200.00 +£17.99 £217.99 profit
Dustin Johnson doesn’t win having not lead after a previous round -£20.00 +£17.99 £2.01 loss

So, if Dustin Johnson is clear leader after Round 1, 2 or 3 but fails to win the tournament, we’ll have made a profit of £217.99!

Any other outcome and we’ll have made a maximum loss of £2.01. Risking £2.01 to make a profit of £217.99, gives us effective odds of 109.45, which I’m sure you’ll agree, makes this a profitable offer in the long run.

If eligible, pay outs will be credited in the form of cash by 12:00 on Monday 20th May 2019.

Note: If our selection has the clear lead after Round 1, 2 or 3, we’ll have the option to place an extra back bet on our selection to win the tournament outright, to lock in a profit. If you decide to guarantee a profit, you just need to divide the sum of your potential loss and potential profit by the back odds. For example, if Dustin Johnson has back odds of 3.00 (2/1), you would divide £219.95 (£1.96 + £217.99) by 3.00, giving you a back stake of £73.32 and a guaranteed profit of £144.67.

* Dustin Johnson failed to win the tournament and did not hold the lead after any of the four rounds, resulting in a loss of £2.01 on this Bruce Betting offer. *
