Are Champions League bets only over 90 mins for all bookies?
-
Hi, shitting myself a bit.. matched around £4-5k worth on the Madrid City game tonight, and then it occurred to me about extra time.. Do all bookies’ standard match bets only cover 90 mins? Smarkets is only the 90, but just thinking that I could get royally fucked if some are and some aren’t.. Anyone know?

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Well done for getting out of the hole but why were you laying the draw for £500 in the first place? Must have been some arbs I take it? Too big a chunk of money for me though !!!
+0thanks Johnson and Pickle! Yeah there was an arb on because the market was obviously inefficient that long before the game started, but then the issue with odds happened. I have a very high risk tolerance as I’ve made a lot of money in a short space of time (not from matched betting) so it feels a bit like ‘the houses money’ haha
+0I’d be careful doing that. I’ve done it thinking I was putting in a good offer that never got matched and money eventually came in at more than the arb so ended up having to take a loss. Not for that type of money though.

gambling then…bankrupt by 2017 FACT
+0nah matchedem I wrote an automation script to automatically enter twitter ‘RT & Follow’ competitions from 200 accounts 24/7. Worked a treat FACT
+0sounds very clever…fancy sharing it with friends?
+0Don’t be irrational… It’s not the house’s money. It’s your money. If you lose that money, you have lost your money.
Also, none of this makes sense. If there was an arbitrage opportunity, you would have matched at 3.9. Are you saying that you just wanted to make a lay offer at 3.9 and hope that it matched?

Corrigan I think hes just saying he gambled on the lay coming down in order to make profit…however it didn’t so he was potentially thousands out of pocket and had to cover all the bets haha
gonna happen loads isnt it…common sense (and you CAN’T TEACH THAT!)
