Flat Earth

Who saw the story last week about the grimsby lads that couldn’t get a bet on at the bookies whether they earth is flat or not!

Crazy stuff with Pinnacle now opening a market giving 25/1 that the earth is flat. Wow. Or if you want to bet safe you can get 1.002 on the earth is not flat! So bet 1000 and win 2 quid, but you have to wait till 2025 to cash in your bet. Just put it in a savings account and you will get a 100 times the profit whether the earth is flat or not!!!

Weird world. Surprised from pinnacle although it’s probably a more popular theory in US than is here so may not seem quite as silly of a novelty market over there…..

my question is…. what is happening in 2025 to confirm or deny the flat world theory?!

pedantic point but pinnacle can’t operate in the US either, although a court case yday has paved the way for legalisation of sports gambling in the states.

Very vague, I don’t even think that we have consensus right now that the earth is round! So many ppl are still stuck believing the opposite.

I don’t know why 2025? They have a few markets like that, will man walk on mars before 2025 etc….

Gives them 7 years to earn interest on you money.

It’s ridiculous- like offering 25/1 for Man Utd to win the league in 2017/18 season.
