Brilliant, some return that Chris. That penalty put a shed load into Hills and PP. Still a very profitable day, but all the profit has gone into the bookies accounts.

No I did work it out but by the time I had (and thanks for everyones help, I do know how to underlay, my mind just goes blank when I wake up), the lay odds had gone from 4.4 to 4.9 returning a measly £2 profit IF the three teams won. I was confident City and West Ham would win (West Ham dominated and had loads of shots on goal even if they did leave it late). I then intended to lay Utd off at 1.28 for a £57 profit but decided to let it run. Obviously by the time I returned to my computer Utd had been toiling for 70 minutes and the odds had gone up to 5.
So yeah, got real lucky, wasnt by ignorance though, more so by balls and taking a punt. Now I need to know what tonights Lotto numbers were.

Makes sense now Chris, and well yeah you’d expect United to win that (then again not based on their current performances!) I think you owe that Sheffield Utd defender a pint definitely haha!! But yeah I suppose £20 isn’t the biggest loss should it had gone wrong!

A lot of posts about of being successful by not laying or ‘underlaying’ recently. I never see a post when it goes wrong though…?
I’d be willing to bet that some people have egg on their face from not following the right procedures. Food for thought.
(This isn’t directed at anybody – just a general comment on the matched betting (//gambling) being discussed more and more).
