The Hot Offers thread (no chat, offers only please)
-
Hi everyone, after posting a decent temporary price boost offer this morning (see my 12:30 Lingfield post for more info) a few folk have said that being notified of these kind of deals when they are posted would help avoid missing out on them.
With that in mind, perhaps we could all use this single thread to post these wee ad hoc gems that we stumble across when scanning the various bookie sites?
No need to post regular, weekly offers in here, nor those that Matt blogs really, more for those limited time price boosts and that kind of thing – normally arb opportunities most often.
Anyway, I think that if you either subscribe to this thread, or reply and check the ‘Notify me of follow-up replies via email’ button then you should be notified each time someone posts a new offer… I guess we’ll see when someone posts up the first offer.
So, that it really, other than to say that perhaps we could keep chatter on this thread to a minimum (other than when you first post to ‘register’ on the thread) so that it ends up just being a goldmine of price boosts and profitable opportunities.
Cheers,

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Mark that would mean having to click notify me on every thread each day, and lets be serious its not that hard to scroll down to the bottom?
So I think its best to leave this and to only post offers only ask the thread suggests.
Thanks+0I never thought about that Ryan, I just thought it would be less hassle scrolling back through pages to see when the new day started (for those that don’t have notify for this thread). I know some days are busier than others (like today an tomorrow)
+0This is a great thread and has already made me over £30+ (great tip this morning, ads) but it’s a bit of a mess and it’s only 5 days old.
I think the best way to do this would be to have two seperate monthly threads – a thread like this where everyone clicks subscribe (and receives emails, rather than a whole load of INs) and the only posts will be links and explanations to offers by the poster; and another thread where we can discuss those offers (where you don’t need to subscribe to) and ask for further clarification on those offers etc.
If these threads are done monthly then it won’t be too much hassle to subscribe to the new thread every month (and of course reminders can be sent out on the last month’s thread to subscriber to the new one).
For example, we’d have two threads:
December’s Hot Offers – Offers Only
December’s Hot Offers – DISCUSSIONThe Offers Only thread should be pretty small and easy to browse through as this is what most of us want, and then the discussion thread can be much longer and full of explanations and queries.
+0I have a couple of ideas also:
If you find an offer, maybe make a new thread first as a placeholder, copy the link and paste it into this thread with a brief description. Then people can just click the link to get through to the offer and comment on there.
Second, maybe there could be 1 or 2 forum moderators if the system and Matt allows it who could quickly tidy the thread each day and delete the non-relevant posts? Should only take a couple of minutes and you could make the thread a sticky.
+0Superb stuff Ads.
Agree with Mark that a new thread should be starter each good tip and then a link provider for discussion / to say thanks.
Getting so many emails at the moment being suscribe to this thread and a lot of them arent tips (and I’m guilty now). Just dont think the current method is sustainable espeacially as and when more members join.
Once again thanks Ads, good start to the saturday 🙂
+0Update and other offers on AINTREE 1:40PM
There are so many offers on this race that there’s defo money coming from it for us.
Sky -M.B. if 2nd, 3rd or 4th
Betfred – M.B. if 2nd to SP
Totesport – M.B. if 2nd to SP
BetBright – M.B. if 2nd
SportingBet – M.B. if 2nd or 3rd
Will Hill – M.B. if 2nd
Ladbrokes – M.B. if 2nd
Betfair Sportsbook – Get a F.B. if back a 3/1 or more winner
Bet365 – Get a F.B. if back a 4/1 winnerGranted the Betfred and Totesport are potentially useless as we need a 7/1 fave or something to win and our pick to come 2nd but the others are good if you have funds in accounts to.
Also, when you back so many in 1 race it won’t mean that so much money will move from exchange account to other accounts because you have enough lays done to cover it andalso the commission is cancelled out on a few selections too.
+0For starters can stop spamming everyone and go discuss it in another thread?
