Why not use dutching instead of matched betting to extract freebets?
-
I may be wrong but I am curious about this. I want to try it but let me know if my calculations are mistaken. For those new to match odds dutching, it is betting on all 3 outcomes of a football game with varying amounts. Very similar to laying but a higher outlay for much better extraction than match betting, without the proportionally larger outlay.
I have found that with dutching with the right odds compared to the same match with match betting I can extract almost 99% of a free bet.
for example:
this has a 97% rating on oddschecker
bournemouth to win against liverpool is 3.65 and lay 3.7
with matched betting I can hope to get back 35.29 with a liability of 97with dutching:
odds are as follows
netbet – 3.65 bournemouth
smarkets – 3.6 draw
smarkets – 2.18 liverpoolPlace the £50 freebet on bournemouth
Place £51.44 on draw
Place £84.63 on liverpoolwhatever happens, it is a £46.43 return for an overall outlay of £136.07 (not including freebet)
I have used smarkets for the other dutching bets because I couldnt be bothered to look at other bookmakers odds. This return is with the 2% commission. If you found similar odds with other bookmakers with no commission, returns are 48.09.
If you forced ‘break even’ you can even make the entire 50 back if you think one result is more likely than the rest with a slight drop in profits with other results
