13:45 Place Market with Betfair Exchange

Did anyone else have the fortune/misfortune to attempt the 13:45 Bad EW race today? Betfair exchange decided to void all bets on the place market. They haven’t given much information on what happened, (hiding behind their traders), but essentially they were not happy with the opening prices on the market and decided to void it.

Betfair refuse to compensate losing bets and are pointing us to the bookies to seek a refund. I find it hard to believe that will happen.
