Acca insurance

  • Hello Guys,

I have been looking into this and wondering if there are any tips .

I choose 5 games as an accumulator but how do I lay it? Individually?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Honestly, I just use oddsmonkey for this. They have four different calculators for four different strategies you can employ – all with nice UIs to help you through it. Is £15 a month, but you make that back easily.

There’s a couple of spreadsheets floating around on the forums so check them out if you want, but I’ve not been convinced by them, and they don’t make it as quick and easy as the oddsmonkey ones do.

I think a lot of people just punt them and hope that over time they come out positive – I prefer to lock in profit though. Initially you might look at an acca and think “ah there’s no way these teams won’t win”. But then just take the example of the Liverpool game the other night – “surely they’ll beat league 2 Plymouth!” – nope!

Remember, gambling is gambling – you can win, you can lose. My advise – if you want a stress free life, stick to matched betting 🙂

Hi skata,I am with Oddsmonkey as well, especially for the acca catcher they offer.I do the ‘lock in’ method of acca’s.This method means that each game has to kick off at different times so that you only lay one match at a time and adjust your lay stake accordingly if the previous game has won or lost.
I have just made £8.84 from a £25 Coral acca,5 games and they offer the free bet if one game lets you down. All the teams won,my profit on the acca was £61.33 and my liabilities on the 5 lays was £52.49.So hence the £8.84 profit.
I’d be happy to do an acca with you if you like over the next few days,You should sign up to Oddsmonkey though,it’s very good!!

I’m with matchedbets.com and they have guides for around 30 individual acca offers across different sports and bookies. Tend to stick to footy myself but there’s plenty there to go at!
