Accumulator Free Bets

Hi all,

Just a quick question in regards to these, I know a lot of the bookies do if 1 leg let’s you down they will refund as a freebet.

How do you take advantage of these?

I mean, how do you go about laying on the exchanges, that’s the bit I’m struggling with accumulators, not entirely sure how to go about this, do you lay each team individually and if so, how much for?

For example let’s say a 5 leg acca with £50 refund if one leg let’s us down?

There’s plenty of threads on this from a while ago. You lay the legs individually. It’s possible to lock in profit regardless of the outcomes, or you can choose a strategy which suits you, but you need to understand what you’re doing.

Ok, I’ve had a look across the forum and got my head around it. It’s actually a lot more simple than when you first read about it.

I just have a couple of questions…

1. Mark…I saw you post that you don’t lay your bets, which is understandable with legs around 1.2 odds. However when I first try it, I will lay – because I want sustained guaranteed profit, not really bothered about the commission in smarkets. I understand that every leg you’ll lay the winnings from the previous leg – am I right?

2. Given your first four legs have won, your last leg is a massive outsider I guess you don’t bothee laying? I’m pretty sure I kmow the answer to this, just need experience to put my my d at ease.

3. Generally which bookmakers have the best offers with regards to Accra insurance?

If youve laid previous legs then you have to lay the last leg. Personally ive just been picking short odds and letting the first few run. Today ive let the first 4 run then laid Bayern at short odds at a cost of £2 who won and my last leg is PSG. Acca odds were 3.25 and PSG are 1.58 so not gonna make a great deal but ive found doing it this way has been the most profitable for me.

I might start doing this with my free bets as the bookies probably like that and less chance of being gubbed.
