Am I missing the point here?
-
Hi there,
Started doing the larger offers a few days ago, I had £200 in the bookies so started placing bets of £10 on odds of between 2 and 4 to break it all up, everything is going ok but its taken me 3 days to get £100 out in to the exchange as some bets win and some loose!
Is there something I am missing so I can get the money out quicker or do I just keep placing more bets? I underlay slightly so my wins at the bookie make me a bit more and the exchange wins give me 80% back.

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

What offer are you doing?

+0There is no way to guarantee that your exchange side of the bet wins and the bookie side loses. You are right that you are hoping that the exchange wins but if you are unlucky and it doesn’t then you just have to keep working through the rollover requirements (which looks like 6 times in this case, so 6*200 = £1200 in settled bets).
You will have a small qualifying loss on all your bets and that will eat into your £100 bonus but not much you can do about that.
Use smarkets to lay – less commission – more money for you.
Use something like oddsmonkey to find close bets for you back and lay odds.
+0Yes thanks for that, pretty much what I thought, will see how the tennis pans out today.

Be very careful, specially in these early rounds. The bookie and exchange might have different rules if a retirement/injury occurs. Don’t be betting large amounts and double check that rules are identical.
Example: Bets void if player is injured and has to concede+0Thanks for that, I am only betting £10 at a time, so far so good today had a few bets on the horses, and a few left to go on the tennis.
