Anthony Joshua wins in Round 1/2 – MB £50 @ 188
-
188 is running another money back promotion, Anthony Joshua to win within the first 2 rounds against Charles Martin. With 12/15 of his wins so far coming in the 2 rounds this could be a possibility.
Had a look at the T&Cs with no mention of only if losing/minimum odds so current back/lay is 1.19/1.27 @ Betfair for Joshua to win. A quali loss of £3.50 although can lay each round off in-play for risk free shot at around £20.

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Every previous offer they do are always losing bets, and it makes sense why would they want to pay out even more for people who have just won! Be very surprised if winning bets got paid out…who knows though!
+0That was (hopefully) easy money. I didnt think he’d do it in two rounds but what a beast, completely destroyed him. Future world heavyweight champion right there.
Lets see if 188 pay out.
+0i didnt either after the first round but round 2 he was a beast haha glad i stayed up to watch it now!He seems a nice bloke too very humble!
+0Just make sure you email them in the next 15 minutes with the details on page 1 of the thread posted by sub-tone
+0yeah already done that was the only reason i stayed up to watch it!
+0I’m not holding my breath but my email basically said:
Bet details, claim code, amount claimed
I wish to claim this stake refund in condition with the terms listed at **Web link** which state that stakes will be refunded up to £50 should Joshua win in the 1st or 2nd rounds. Even though my bet was a winning one it didn’t state in the terms the bet had to be a losing one and I therefore look forward to my refund.
Regards
Maximus Decimus Meridius+0Post back here on how you get on.
I have screenshots of the offer if anyone needs them, lets hope its as straightforward as it read in the T&Cs (although I have a sneaky suspicion we are in for a fight).

The fact it says stake refund…hope you all get it though!
+0i spoke to them on chat and they seemed fine and said they have reiceved my email and i would be refunded within 48 hours?i havent used this compnay before are they a bit dodgy then?
+0Missed this offer, but just reading through the thread.
Would be pleasantly surprised if you guys got a refund for a winning bet. Surely you’ve already had your stake back along with your winnings, like every other winning bet. Will keep an eye for future reference, if they run similar offers again. Good luck!
+0Got a confirmation email (the 2nd you receive when claiming) however looking back at the terms there is a weird one.
If Anthony Joshua wins the fight in round 1 or 2 in the Heavyweight fight at the O2 London Arena on 09th April 2016, we will refund your stake as a free bet up to a maximum of €/£/$50!
5. The value of the Bonus is based on your winnings (stake not included), up to a maximum of €/£/$50 per member
According to 5. If you’d bet on Martin it would’ve lost so no winnings therefore no refund…
Plus initial wording is stake refund as bonus not winnings as bonus. So God knows what’s going on there, Sub_tone is this on your screenshot? Wonder if they’ve changed it.+0That’s on my screen shot too. I didn’t understand it. To be honest I think they’ve messed up and should as a goodwill gesture honour our bets. Probably before gubbing us all.
Offers on Leicester (defoe to score) and spurs (red card) tomorrow. Wording is like we’re used to so I’m thinking this may be ok.
If you notice the difference in wagering requirements before withdrawal I think this was intentional and winning bets count. This could be the optimist in me though!
+0I didn’t place a winning bet my bet lost?
+0has anyone been refunded for this yet?
+0Nothing as of yet……will update here as soon As I hear either way…..
